AIR DRY CLAY DIY

For all of my Christmas gifts this year I was able to make all of my presents for friends and family. I had gotten my initial inspiration from this post on Esty's blog on air dry clay wall art. 

The steps I took to create each piece was to first create the shapes out of the terra cotta air drying clay, then pick out the design and colors for each one. I then proceeded to watch a few seasons of Mad Men while I looped the yarn over the dowels. After that I attached the dried clay pieces in an aesthetically pleasing way, and ta-dah! you have wall art.
